Product overview
A turbine gas flow meter measures gas volume by letting the flowing gas spin a bladed rotor inside the pipe. The rotor speed rises in proportion to the gas velocity, and a sensor counts each turn as an electrical pulse.
The meter converts those pulses into flow rate and total volume — a reliable way to track natural gas, LPG and other clean gas used by boilers, generators and burners.
Don’t confuse it with
A turbine meter is not a thermal mass meter. It has a spinning rotor and reads volume, while a thermal meter has no moving parts and reads mass flow from heat transfer. For steam and air, a vortex meter is the better fit.
