Product overview
An air diffuser sits on the floor of an aeration tank and releases compressed air as a curtain of bubbles. As the bubbles rise, oxygen passes into the water so aerobic bacteria can break down the pollution load.
Fine bubble discs and tubes give the highest oxygen transfer for biological treatment. Coarse bubble discs are used where strong mixing matters more, such as in equalization tanks. We lay the diffusers out on an air pipe grid sized to your tank.
Don’t confuse it with
A diffuser is not a blower. The blower produces the air and the diffuser spreads it through the tank — every aeration system needs both.
